You will create your very own enchanted vase inspired by the world of wizards, owls, and ancient magical trees to celebrate Wizarding Weekend in Downtown Waynesboro.
In this beginner-friendly class, Becci Zullinger will guide you in hand-building a whimsical vase using basic slab and sculpting techniques—no prior experience needed. Whether your design leans gnarled like the Whomping Willow or graceful like Hedwig in flight, you’ll have the freedom to bring your magical vision to life.
Add textures, carved details, and personal touches as you shape a one-of-a-kind vase perfect for feathers, spell scrolls, small wands, or enchanted blooms. Then decorate your piece with underglazes in whatever color you wish using a selection of our many color options. We handle the various drying and firing stages for the piece and will notify you when it is ready to be picked up! (typically takes 2-3 weeks to dry, glaze, and fire).
This class is part of Waynesboro’s Wizarding Weekend and open to witches, wizards, and Muggles ages 8 and up.
Parents/caregivers are welcome to create with your kids, just purchase an extra seat.

***The studio address is 13 South Church Street Waynesboro PA. Please note that we do not have a parking lot. We have a few metered street parking spots in front of the studio. If you want to park in a space off the street that is reserved for Nicodemus Center customers, I recommend parking a block further down at the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Waynesboro. Our studio is on a one-way street. If you pass the studio (it will be on your left) continue roughly a block further up the street. The church is on your left.
