Cancellations and Policies

  • Cancellations for 1-Day classes are permitted up to 72 hours prior to the start of the session. To receive a refund or a credit towards another class, cancellations must be made at least 3 days before the class takes place.

If your schedule changes, and you are unable to attend a workshop or class that you have paid for that is taking place withing the next 72 hour time frame, we are unable to refund your tuition cost.

We reserve the right to cancel or merge any of our classes based on enrollment.

If a class is cancelled or merged with another class/class time, all students enrolled will be notified. Those students will have the right to cancel their registration for a full refund, or receive a credit for the next class session.

  • Cancellations for recurring classes (4 or 7 week classes) are permitted up to 7 days prior to the start of the session. To receive a refund or a credit towards another class, cancellations must be made at least 7 days before the beginning of the first class day.

If your schedule changes, and you are unable to attend a workshop or class that you have paid for that is taking place withing the next 7 days, we are unable to refund your tuition cost.

  • We do have a make-up policy for days missed during recurring classes. If you must miss a scheduled class time during a 4 or 7 week class, you have the right to reschedule, at the instructors discretion, up to 2 class times. These make-up days must occur withing 2 months of the missed day.

Unfortunately, there is no make-up policy for 1 day classes. Please see the above section entitled: “Cancellations - 1-Day Classes”.

We do understand extenuating circumstances. If an emergency arises, please contact the Executive Director, Becci Zullinger becci@waynesboroceramics.org, to work out an appropriate solution.

  • After a class ends, your work will be fired for you. Once the work is fired and ready to be picked up, you will receive a notification from a staff member at NCCS. Once this notification has been sent, you have 2 months to retrieve your work. After 2 months, it becomes NCCS property and may be thrown away.
