Adult (18 and older) Animal Themed Pinch Pot Planter Hand Building Class, Friday, October 3, 2025, 6:00pm-8:30pm
Adult (18 and older) Animal Themed Pinch Pot Planter Hand Building Class
Friday, October 3, 2025, 6:00pm-8:30pm.
Cost: $50.00.
This class is appropriate for beginning and more experienced hand builders.
Join instructor Alexis Cline to create a really cute animal themed pinch pot planter (or bowl) just perfect for succulents or other small plants. It would also make a really sweet children’s bowl. The sample is a puppy, but the type of animal is really up to you. Alexis will guide students through the process of making and shaping the pinch pot body, making coils, joining clay using slip and scoring, and adding texture. Before the evening wraps up, students will choose their glaze color from a selection of studio glazes. The studio will take care of glazing and firing their cup, which will be available for pick up approximately three weeks after the class.
The studio address is 13 South Church Street Waynesboro PA. Please note that we do not have a parking lot. We have a few metered street parking spots in front of the studio. If you want to park in a space off the street that is reserved for Nicodemus Center customers, I recommend parking a block further down at the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Waynesboro. Our studio is on a one-way street. If you pass the studio (it will be on your left) continue roughly a block further up the street. The church is on your left. You turn in to their parking lot before the church. If you reach the stop sign, you have gone too far.
