Adult (18 and older) “Travel Sip Cup” Hand Building Class
Friday, June 6, 6:00pm-8:30pm.
Cost: $50.00.
This class is appropriate for beginning and more experienced hand builders.
Join instructor Alexis Cline to create a 12 oz Travel Sip Cup, perfect for taking drinks, hot or iced, on the go! Alexis will guide students through the process of creating their cup from clay slabs using a template, adding surface decoration with stamps and/or carving, assembling using the slip & score technique, and adding a coiled handle. Before the evening wraps up, students will choose their glaze color from a selection of studio glazes. The studio will take care of glazing and firing their cup, which will be available for pick up approximately three weeks after the class.
The studio address is 13 South Church Street Waynesboro PA. Please note that we do not have a parking lot. We have a few metered street parking spots in front of the studio. If you want to park in a space off the street that is reserved for Nicodemus Center customers, I recommend parking a block further down at the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Waynesboro. Our studio is on a one-way street. If you pass the studio (it will be on your left) continue roughly a block further up the street. The church is on your left. You turn in to their parking lot before the church. If you reach the stop sign, you have gone too far.
