In this beginning wheel throwing class, children ages 8-10 will have fun learning to throw a small bowl or cup on the pottery wheel. No experience needed and getting a bit muddy is guaranteed!
Class size is limited to ensure each child gets group and one-on-one instruction, as needed.
We will handle the various drying and firing stages and notify parents when the pots are ready for pick up. It typically takes 3-4 weeks for the pots to make it through the drying and firing processes.

Ages: 8-10. Please note, parents must be present for all children attending the class.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellation for 1-day class is permitted up to 72 hours prior to the start of the session. To receive a refund or a credit towards another class, cancellations must be made at least 3 days before the class takes place.
If your child is unable to attend the class that is taking place within the next 72 hour time frame, we are unable to refund the cost of tuition.
Parking: Please note that we do not have a parking lot. We have a few metered street parking spots in front of the studio. If you want to park in a space off the street that is reserved for Nicodemus Center customers, I recommend parking a block further down at the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Waynesboro. Our studio is on a one-way street. If you pass the studio (it will be on your left) continue roughly a block further up the street. The church is on your left.
