Hand-built Gingerbread House for Ages 8-88, Saturday, November 7, 1:00pm-3:00pm
Gingerbread house
Duration: 1 Session (2 hours)
Skill Level: Beginner
Ages: 8-88
Instructor: Jenny Snyder
Location: NCCS Studio, 13 S. Church St, Waynesboro, PA
Create a gingerbread house you can enjoy year after year! In this fun class for adults and kids, you’ll build your own gingerbread house from clay. After firing and a food-safe clear glaze, your finished house is ready to decorate with icing and candy—all the fun of a traditional gingerbread house without the hassle of building one every year. When the holidays are over, simply wash off the decorations with hot water and save your house for next Christmas. A handmade holiday heirloom your family can decorate and enjoy for years to come!
No experience needed—we’ll guide you through every step.
Workshop Includes:
Clay, tools, and materials
Step-by-step instruction
Glazing and kiln firing of one finished planter
What to Bring:
Clothes you can get a little messy
Class Size: Limited for a relaxed, hands-on experience
Registration Required.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations for 1-Day classes are permitted up to 72 hours prior to the start of the session. To receive a refund or a credit towards another class, cancellations must be made at least 3 days before the class takes place.
If your schedule changes, and you are unable to attend a workshop or class that you have paid for that is taking place within the next 72 hour time frame, we are unable to refund your tuition cost.
Please note that we do not have a parking lot. We have a few metered street parking spots in front of the studio. If you want to park in a space off the street that is reserved for Nicodemus Center customers, I recommend parking a block further down at the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Waynesboro. Our studio is on a one-way street. If you pass the studio (it will be on your left) continue roughly a block further up the street. The church is on your left.
