Adults (18 and older) Paint a Cosmos Tray with Tracy, Saturday, August 16 , 2025, 1:00pm - 3:00pm
Cosmos Tray with Tracy
Duration: 1 Session (2.0 hours)
Skill Level: All skill levels
Ages: 18+
Cost: $40
Instructor: Tracy Sutton
Location: NCCS Studio, 13 S. Church St, Waynesboro, PA
Bring the beauty of summer into the fall in this 2 hour session where you will ‘paint’ a tray with a bright bouquet of Cosmos. Tracy will walk you step-by-step through the process of painting with underglazes (what potters use to paint their pottery) on a 4X7 ceramic tray. Absolutely no prior experiences with underglazes, painting, or drawing is required. There’s plenty of room for creativity if you want to try your hand at another sprig of flowers.
Workshop Includes:
Clay tray, underglazes, and brushes
Step-by-step instruction
Glazing and kiln firing of one finished 4X7 tray
What to Bring:
Wear comfortable shoes and clothes that may get a bit of underglaze on them. The underglaze easily washes out.
Class Size: Limited for a relaxed, hands-on experience
Registration Required. Great for a fun afternoon out!
Please note that we do not have a parking lot. We have a few metered street parking spots in front of the studio. If you want to park in a space off the street that is reserved for Nicodemus Center customers, I recommend parking a block further down at the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Waynesboro. Our studio is on a one-way street. If you pass the studio (it will be on your left) continue roughly a block further up the street. The church is on your left.
