Adults (18 and older) Hand Building -- Animal Themed Pinch Pot Class, Friday, October 3, 2025, 6:00pm - 8:30pm
Pinch Pot Animal Planter
Duration: 1 Session (2.5 hours)
Skill Level: Beginner
Ages: 18+
Instructor: Alexis Cline
Location: NCCS Studio, 13 S. Church St, Waynesboro, PA
Get creative with clay in this one-night hand-building class where you'll sculpt your very own animal-themed planter! Using the simple pinch pot technique, you’ll build the base of your planter and then bring it to life with ears, eyes, tails—or tusks! Whether you make a sleepy sloth, a curious cat, or a totally unique creature, this class is all about fun and self-expression.
No experience needed—just bring your imagination and we’ll guide you through every step.
Workshop Includes:
Clay, tools, and materials
Step-by-step instruction
Glazing and kiln firing of one finished planter
What to Bring:
Clothes you can get a little messy
Ideas or inspiration for your animal (or wing it!)
Class Size: Limited for a relaxed, hands-on experience
Registration Required. Great for a creative night out!
Please note that we do not have a parking lot. We have a few metered street parking spots in front of the studio. If you want to park in a space off the street that is reserved for Nicodemus Center customers, I recommend parking a block further down at the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Waynesboro. Our studio is on a one-way street. If you pass the studio (it will be on your left) continue roughly a block further up the street. The church is on your left.
